We are looking for 12 highly engaged Muskie alumni from each country in the Muskie region to provide future direction to the Muskie alumni community and serve as a representative body of the alumni in the region. The Council’s mission is to strengthen connections between the Muskie Program and its ever-growing American and international alumni communities, and to raise the visibility of both the Council and Muskie Program at the national and international level.
Selection Criteria
The Muskie Team and members of the current Alumni Council will evaluate each candidate based on the following criteria:
- Exemplifies a commitment to the mission of the Muskie Program and to the Muskie Alumni community.
- Exhibits the desire and capability to collaborate with representatives from other countries in the Muskie Program region.
- Demonstrates outstanding leadership and the ability to take initiative on long-term collaborative projects.
Selected candidates will be expected to perform the following:
- Commit to a year-long uncompensated, voluntary position of a regional representative and liaison within Muskie alumni community.
- Regularly meet, either in-person or virtually, with other members of the Muskie Alumni Council to implement the Council’s activities.
- Collaborate with other council members to submit quarterly reports to the Muskie Team at Cultural Vistas about the Council’s activities.
